Apple brand 38mm and 42mm watch bands are on sale at Bestbuy. Sport bands (including Nike) and sport loops are $24.50 and the leather loop and classic band are $74.50. The Milanese loop in space black 38mm is $99.50. I've been looking for a leather loop for a little while and this is the best price I could find for brand new from a reputable company.

I bought these bands and they've worked perfectly well for my Apple watch 4 -

Disagree I've been using the cheap generics for 2 years. They look as good as the day I got them. I have a fake sports band and a fake Milanese band. Paid next to nothing for them.

Basically saved enough to buy another watch!
Do you have an amazon link to those? I would love the lower cost lol.

Stop saying that replicas are exactly the same. They aren't. I've bought many replicas to compare so I'm speaking from personal experience. Some are good, yes. Some are bad. Some are adequate. But none of them are identical.

For example the Apple leather loop is quilted Italian leather. Replicas use PU leather, which probably shouldn't even be called leather. Its the last bit of fibrous layer of skin that's had a rubberized polymer glued to it to resemble leather. The Apple band smells like leather. The replica bands smell like binding adhesive. If you want a leather loop, get the Apple leather loop. If you want a rubberized leather knockoff that smells like chemical death, get a replica. Saying this is the same thing would be like saying that plywood is the same as Walnut. I would stay away from the replicas.

Another example is the stainless steel link band. The replicas have been through several generations of trying to copy this band. The early generations were not even close. They looked similar on the outside but were substantially different, for example they didn't have the same quick detach links. Some replicas don't have the same latch system. Those are the obvious bad ones. However, the latest generation bands from the better brands like Urvoi are very good copies. The only detraction is that the machining tolerances are not quite as good so there will be a little more play in everything and slightly larger gaps everywhere. In this case I'd recommend the replica, especially given apple's extremely high price on these. The replicas are still not the same, but they are good if you get the right brand and the latest generation.

The sport band replicas are all made from silicon. Apple's are made from fluoroelastomer. The silicon bands look exactly the same but they don't feel as good, they won't hold up as well, they attract lint like crazy, and they get dirty much more quickly. I'd say get the real thing here unless your budget is tight and you can accept an inferior material to wear every day.

The Milanese loop replicas are pretty close. There are subtle differences like stiffness, so I'm sure these aren't identically made, but they are close enough. I'd be perfectly happy with the replica if I liked the Milanese loop bands. However, I don't like Milanese loops because the little links yank on my wrist hair.

The double tour leather band looks similar to Apple's but is made from cheaper leather. The band thickness is thinner and the width is skinnier. Because it is skinnier, the band slides back and forth at the watch's attachment points. The band looks and smells like leather, but there is a very thin layer on top that started separately wrinkling within a week, so I suspect (but am not certain) that it is bonded leather, which is very poor leather. Basically it's thin leather scraps bonded together with a cheaper material like cloth or even paper. I would consider this a mediocre knockoff at best. Not great like the steel knockoffs, but not terrible and toxic smelling like the PU leather knockoffs.

I haven't tried sport loop replicas yet, so I can't speak from experience on those. I have a couple on the way though. From what I've heard, they are adequate and look very similar, but they don't feel as good.

I can understand why some people think the replicas are good enough. I'd even agree with that in some limited cases. But I can't understand why anyone would think the replicas are made in the same factory--there are clear and obvious differences in fit, feel, materials, and workmanship.

Lol, no one is talking about generic knock offs. there's plenty of big brand name 3rd party Apple products that just aren't as good as Apple. If you don't want to pay the premium then that's fine, but to say 3rd party is higher quality for less cost is laughable.
Are you new to shopping? Price is not always correlated with quality. You are paying a premium for the name not the product. Sadly a majority of people make this mistake often. Now I am not saying the apple bands are bad but for $25 (or whatever comparable price) you can 100% find a better quality band. And willing to bet you could find a better quality band for cheaper as well. Also willing to bet if I showed you a $3 knock off vs this $25 apple band you and 99% of people could not notice a difference.

Please PM me with some examples, looking for a white band

You can just search "Apple sport loop" on Amazon and you'll find plenty of options.

But, they're not the same quality. I've read that the sport loops are not bad but the sport bands quality is not the same. I can't comment on the other bands like link, leather, etc.

The only OEM Apple accessory worth buying are the iPhone leather cases...those are awesome.

Otherwise 3rd party bands are fine...been buying them since Gen1 Apple watch and have had zero issues.

This is a great deal. Thanks for posting OP and repped.

In 4 1 yellow classic buckle leather band to go with the apple watch I bought as a Christmas gift. 🎁. It's hard to justify the $150 price tag on these, but for $75 I'm excited about gifting it with the watch. Perfect timing!

PS: I too have seen the light blue sport band go in and out of stock. When I tried to add it to my cart it was already gon though. Maybe they'll come back again.

Yeah that is descriptive, should up your trolling game.... Silicon, leather, plastic, metal? God people are lazy. Just buy the "SD" if you are too lazy to do your own research.

I know the 42mm will fit the 44mm but are they the same material? Are they just clearancing the 42 because it simply says 42 and not 44?
Yes it fits. I kept my 42 milanese loop and I'm using it on the 44mm. Fits perfectly.

Main thing I've seen with the knock off Milanese loops is the magnet sticks to everything. The Apple one is only really magnetic on the side facing your wrist. This doesn't seem like a big deal until your bad starts sticking to everything metal. I have the Apple one and had at least 2 people ask me if it mine does that (because they had the knock offs).
