I would like to share a comment by NeatCrowd731 which refers to the Nvdia prices:
"4th Quarter Results will be a hard hit, but Nvidia will mitigate the loss somewhat by controlling the market by not flooding it with Pascal cards. If you buy it all up at these prices they will keep selling the back stock at these prices. These are not good prices. Wait it out people." This makes sense but if you are really needing a card this is a good deal, I pulled the trigger on the ASUS because of the game bundles, I was actually going to purchase both B04 and Monster World hunter so technically saved an additional $120= $240 for a 1070ti is a good deal for me.

Lot of people need it now either for their own Christmas gift or for PC building for someone as Christmas gift.
I am not sure how Step-up program works, card I bought today can I request for step up to 2080....as per EVGA queue for 20 is really long and may not get for few months, which is exactly what

I'm so glad I went with Vega 64 and Freesync...such a value compared to Nvidia premiums...and I usually favor Nvidia, but they are getting ridiculous!

Super-easy OC on it. I bought one during BF, and added 150Hz on GPU, 300Hz on memory for a low-hassle overclock. All 1070Tis are basically overclockers because manufacturers can't overclock them based on nVidia restrictions. Easy to use your favorite flavor of a tool (for ASUS it's Tweak II) to add some more power to the thing putting it on par with a 1080

What games do you plan on playing? 3440 X 1440 is a pretty beef resolution, but it's only a little over half the pixel density of 4K. Personally, I game on a 1070, and while it's perfect for 1080P and 1440P it's not quite up to the task of 4K in most games, however, if I use 70% resolution scale generally I can get a locked 60fps at Ultra settings. A 1070 Ti is at least a good 20% faster than a 1070, if not more in most cases, so I think it should be perfectly fine at 3440x1440.

Hope this helps!
