If it drop and crack your phone, it'll cost you a lot more than $3. laugh out loud Or in the event that you are riding and it drop and lost your phone, would you still consider getting it?

IMO, this is not secure enough for bicycle. Something more like this is more secure https://www.amazon.com/COTEetCI-B...B0186K6RS4

Just look at photos uploaded in reviews. I would not use it if it was free!

This comment was not helpful because it's like insulting people who don't use a heavy duty phone case. I think people are crazy to go caseless. If someone wants to go bareskin they know the risk.

If there were a flaw in the product, ie it randomly drops phones, then that would be helpful to know.

I haven't used this specific mount, but I have a similar one. When you use this type of clip with a case that pushes on from the back of your phone, it can pull on the corners of the case and cause your phone to pop out of the case. Then the case will bend backwards a little and the phone falls out of the mount. I switched to a bag type mount which seems more secure.

I've used a similar different one, from CawCar, on my road bike. Rubber has held up, stays tight no complaints. Getting this one for my cross bike and will see how durable it is. Thanks.

One mediocre-product seller's attempt at hijacking the marketing campaign of another mediocre-product is what it feels like.

Edit: clarification - my note is not on your comment but on the one you commented on

Mounting location is better on the handle bar so you can still see the road.
