What's Sealed Pressure for?
Do I need to use filter if I use it on dry floor?

It's a nice small powerful vacuum. The hose that comes with it is so short and stiff that makes the whole thing useless. I swapped the hose with the one that came with my $40 shop vac brand vacuum I got from Lowe's. It's a longer and more flexible hose.

The Lowe's one has a 6 gallon tank and is now down to $40:

Unit itself is fine. Nothing special. Hose is hot garbage. It breaks right at the connection between the ribbed stretch part and the connection to the unit, NOT the attachment end. So it is what I consider a critical failure.

Gave up after 2 of them and bought T-rex tape.

If you need a solid shop vac for home use or a project and have quality tape or a better hose pull the trigger. Otherwise you'll have a very solid unit you can't friggin use.

Agreed with the hose issues commented above. I used mine and was trying to "reach " a bit and the damn thing flipped over and the nasty contents inside were all over my floor. Not to mention the flipping caused the agitator ball inside to get sucked in and sealed the opening where suctions gets channeled in rendering the thing temporarily useless. So you can imagine the mess and headache.

I bought this from an Walmart sale for $25. Hose is too short, weak suction and the filter is a thin piece of fabric. The only pro is price and weight. I upgraded shortly after.

The lowes one has:

- higher CFM
- higher HP
- higher tank size
- easy returns if you didn't like it (Lowes being a B&M you can take it there as opposed to paying for shipping)

So isn't the lowes one a better bargain?

Both have reviewers complaining about getting stuck and spilling the mess though. Aren't those secure lids supposed to keep them secure?

a similar model is sold at Costco, kind of on/ff, but am sure have seen it many a times for $20 or so. And it is not worth that money too, IMO.
