Please suggest major difference between the above two models. Planning to gift my husband, who is at beginners level with guitar. Sincere suggestion please 🙏

So I'm also a beginner and I got the acoustic. The electric would also need an amp (speaker) to output sound. So the acoustic is much more affordable for starting off.

This isn't an electric guitar. It's an acoustic fitted with electronics that make amplifying possible. When not plugged in, it plays just like a regular acoustic.

They are different sizes though, with the purple one being slightly smaller.

People say its a beginner's guitar. I bought it last month on the same deal. Comes with a 3 month lesson gift card. Doesn't contain cover. Best part was delivered in 4 days. Still learning to play

If hubby is just learning, then the CD-60S is a good beginner's instrument. The sealed machine heads should help it stay in tune (which can be a real frustration for beginners). The 3 months of Fender Play is a valuable addition for someone who is learning. Nothing improves one's playing more than having a lesson plan to follow. For $110, it's the sort of guitar that there's no need to sell on even after he graduates to something better, since it's often nice to have a less expensive guitar around to just pick-up-and-play that you don't have to worry about.

I read somewhere that the CC-60S was the best beginners guitar. What is the difference between that one and this one the CD-60S?

Cc is concert series, a smaller guitar. I purchased a black CC-60s for about the same price when that deal was going on and love it. Fender play is also great for learning

The cc is a slightly smaller concert size guitar. CD is slightly larger dreadnought. The CD therefore slightly louder and is (supposedly) better at rhythm/strumming style. I am a beginner and moved from a CD 60 to cc 60s. The smaller size was more comfortable for me. Some say the size difference is not discernable esp to beginners but I could see and feel a difference. Both are good as learning instruments.
