Philips 436M6VBPAB 43" Momentum monitor

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...014X-00007

It is a really expensive monitor, with DisplayHDR 1000. So far I was able to find out that this means it has local dimming, super high brightness and HDCP 2.2 support for HDR10 content.
Also not sure what this "ambi glow" thing is but seems to be some ambient lighting that is dynamic based on the screen content

fancy, maybe good deal for those looking for a USB-C docking workstation monitor or to run PIP or PBP on a 4K reso with low input lag...

For $1k, it should include an Xbox One X 1TB as a loaner until the next gen Xbox is available.Smilie

Very nice deal but I can't have a 43" mounted in front of me. I'm sure others will find this to be a great deal.

Im sure some people will find value in this. For others you can get 40" samsung 4k tv for $200-$300 if you find a deal.

sure but for gamers that want really low input lag and local dimming with super bright pictures, you are still looking at a higher range.

HDR1000 FTW. I need one of these in my life. I have a 28" Samsung UHD monitor and to see 4k details, it is way to small. This is a solution.

https://youtu.be/gXcAlCxko58 Here is a video of how someone uses a 43" as a main monitor and it looks reasonable.

I believe that is the same as the Dell 43" which can be had for $629 refurbished sometimes. So I'd say this Philips monitor with Xbox isn't very slick. Maybe if it was a One X, maybe.

The Dell is an HDR1000 model? 4ms? Ambiglow?

I don't buy refurbished. I'll take a free Xbox and get the NEW monitor I want to get. Peace
