Yes. G-Sync or FreeSync is really a game changer. Basically V-Sync without the performance hit.

120Hz is an even bigger game changer, but it will ruin all 60Hz gaming for you in the future.

Using this monitor, and it's fantastic. I personally don't think G-Sync alone is worth what they're charging, but for the 120hz, great color, small bezel, nice extras like the USB ports, RGB lights. It's honestly a terrific monitor. I had a dead pixel with my first one, and Dell shipped me a new one overnight, I still haven't shipped the original back. Hard to beat that. With my 4 days of experience with two of these things, I think they're probably the best Ultrawide you can buy until someone drops something with higher hz.

Great price op! Was looking at this on ZON for $799.99 yesterday. On the fence as I"ve ready G-sync doesn't play nice with SLI (I have 2x1070s). Thinking instead to get an IPS 1440p @ 144hz. Anyone else in my situation & have a reccomendation?

Ahh yes just got done reading an article. Seems even more beneficial if the monitor is at 60hz RR. (Meaning that it picks up where the hardware lacks)

I picked up this monitor a week ago for this price from Newegg's Ebay. I like it so far. I'm not much of a gamer, but I wanted the monitor to have the option and this one is highest rated.

I started out looking at the Acer Predator vs. another one I can't remember at the moment, and in forums and reviews this one often got mentioned as the best choice.

Nope...I had the X34p running off of my 670s SLI and now I have the Acer 34" Freesync 100Hz Ultrawide 1440p I got around BF running with my new Vega 64.

I play mostly Battlefield. Both configurations are really nice but if you consider $1200 or more for an Nvidia g-sync monitor/GPU combo or the equivalent AMD combo that I put together for about $700 it is a no brainer. You can do a lot with $500.

Could this be returned directly to a Best Buy store if need be? Any one what BB's return policy is on monitors? Just bought on Costco. Tempted to return when I get this and buy this instead.
