Select free store pickup Add the 3D Blu-ray set to cart, select shipping first and proceed to checkout, as stock permits, it'll give you $1 off at checkout for picking up in store (if it doesn't work try the same method in mobile site, not app).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It was not just a gimmick to many people any more than HDR is now with 4K. I have an LG OLED 3D 4K tv. 3D is phenomenal on that TV. HDR is a very small actual visual difference. 3D when done well, even in a bad movie (like the ghostbusters remake) adds a lot to the movie. It's not about things constantly jumping out at you. It's about the depth of the image

Not completely. It is superior to 4K for me. Doctor Strange was amazing in 3d. I just wish we got all the 3d movies like they do in Europe so I wouldn't have to import them

Is this the same as the extended edition for the hobbits? Or just a regular version?

Mad Max is awesome in 3D with the Dolby Atmos sound track. Go to 3D movie is no longer Avatar :-). San Andreas is also pretty good. Both the 3D effects and Atmos sound track are very good.

I think these are theatrical version. Extended edition comes in black case (like 4K/UHD) and a hard slipcase.

Same here. I wish Disney would at least sell them on DMC for the US buyers.

I don't really want to re-watch the hobbit movies but that Gandalf cover is amazing.

Do people still really watch 3d? I realized it was a gimmick during the Avatar days.

Agreed. I prefer 3D over 4K.
