I'm a drummer.

This is an insane amount of value for an electric drum set.

Personally, I've stuck with the Roland TD-9 for 5+ years and its an amazing kit, and a bit better than this one. However, this more than qualifies as "good" and will do what you need it to do. If you need a better electronic drum set than this one, you would already know which one you're getting.

summary: if you're in the market, this is a good choice at this price.

Got a used set on Facebook Marketplace for around $180 and hooked up to Rock Band with MIDI adapter. Works great for a beginner to intermediate. Overall a good deal for a new set.

Just checked Costco too. Looks like they got a better deal going if you have a membership.
Includes a throne, sticks, and headphones for only $259.99.

After review, it looks like the Costco Alesis Drum Module is the Burst module and not the Nitro posted on BHPhoto. Costco still looks like better bang for the buck.

I'm on the mobile app and I see the share feature when you tap on the three dots on the upper right.

I'm on the mobile app too... no shared button and no sharing under the three dot menu.

Anyone know why?

The Costco one is for the Burst Set. This link is for the Nitro Mesh set which has gotten far better reviews for the mesh heads. It's usually about 350 so this is a nice deal. No tax is great, and I'm gonna have to get one too.

serious question, do I need speakers attached to it for it to make a sound? Do any off the shelf speakers suffice?
