About the same. Some of kobalts stuff is slightly nicer. Both are premium entry level tools or lower mid tier. Fine for the average homeowner who does limited DIY or the more advanced who understands the tools limitations and quality. Better than a lot of the cheap Chinese junk. I've used these and they work fine. The crescent style wrench is a bit gritty and rusts easy but that was expected. These would be great to keep in the truck or as loaner tools for this price.

This one is more cheap, but I think only 3 pics is not enough!

Bought these in store yesterday to add to vehicle toolkits for the family members. They are decent quality, and I expect will be fine for sparse use.

The 8" adjustable wrench is $10 on its own, so it was a no-brainer to get the bundle.

Bought some of these sets from the 2013/2014 clearance events. Most haven't even been used and have significant surface rust . Not the wrench just the pliers. None of my irwin or craftsman pliers have surface rust

I use the husky groove-joint pliers almost everyday, and they've held up for over a year. I believe they even have a lifetime guarantee. If it's anything like kobalt, you just bring in your broken tool and walk out with a replacement.

I bought this exact set 2 years ago for lot more and they are pretty good quality. The crescent wrench and pliers have rubberized grip which are non-slippery especially handy when installing washers & dryers in tight spaces.

The Husky brand has lifetime warranty on most of their tools. Does anyone have experience trying to exchange one? Not sure how you can break a pliers, but just curious if it's as easy as they claim.
