New Verizon customers get 2 LG V40s for $90 each

This is a pretty insane deal. I know it can be taken advantage of in store. Not sure about online.

Here's the math. New Verizon customers can get $490 of the V40 which is stackable. New Verizon customers also can get a buy one get one free on the V40 up to $750 off. The phone costs $980 to begin.

1970
-750
-490
-490 = $230

Divide that buy 2 you get final price of $115 per phone. They have a similar deal on the g7 but the V40 is a much better phone I'm.

Is this via bill credits or instant credit?

Super hot if its instant credit.
Lame deal if it's bill credits - well actually, not too lame if you are already going to switch to Verizon, but not great.

1. It is $750 credit, not $800
2. Where do you see $490 stackable with $750? It is either $490 or $750 as the second phone.

Here you go. It's $750 off max which makes each phone $115

Man, we have a few months of shitty free sprint service left but the wife has been badgering me to Port back to Verizon anyways... This may be the time. Haven't had an LG phone since the G4...anyone have either of these devices and care to share their experience?

All I can say is we went from the V30 to a Samsung Note 9 and we both wish we went V40 instead (one of the reasons is the initial launch of the V40 you could only get 64 GB phones where the V30 came standard with 128 GB).

Cameras on the V30 embarrass the Note 9, the Note 9 feels way heavier, the V30 is not loaded with the bloatware that Samsung forces down your throat (WTF is Bixby), and frankly we like the LG version of the interface better than Samsung.

Now that is my personal opinion of course...there are plenty of blogs out there that love up the Samsung devices...but I disagree with them as a long time LG user.

I would bet our next upgrade my wife is going to insist we go to the V50 or 60 (whenever we upgrade) and ditch our Samsung phones.

I'm with you on the Samsung bloatware...it's ridiculous. I am a little hesitant to jump back into skinned Android after being all pixel/essential for the last few years but I'll check out some reviews. Thanks and I appreciate your opinion!

I was just talking about going from ATT to Verizon a few hours ago... this deal is negative 3, however, but what am I missing?

I'd like to make the switch in the next 2-4 weeks and, as a SD'er, want a good deal! Been with ATT many years but it's just time to change.

Mostly because the math posted here is incorrect... 2 LG V40 with both on new lines comes to be $29 ($20+$9) a month in DPP each month. That's 50% of the 1st device and 50% off the half price for the 2nd one. So you are still paying $696 in 24 months for 2 phones. This is merely half off considering V40's current price on eBay. I am not sure how OP came up with the numbers posted here (he got one extra $490 off in the math, which is incorrect).
P.S I am an existing customer and tried adding 2 phones with 2 new lines in my cart.
