Right now it is cheaper than the 3-Quart one and half the price of 8-Quart version. Paid $150 couple months ago, seriously considering getting another one!

Edit: sorry, just saw this posted by someone else.

Depends on how much you cook

We got one a few weeks ago. Our main reason is to cook dried beans really quickly when needed for other recipes like soups. You can cook beans quickly and better for digestion. We have also been cooking whole chickens. Our's has a saute feature we use first, and then we pressure cook it for 35 minutes. It tastes amazing, juicy, and is falling off the bones. We made a hamburger vegetable soup in it the other day. It is nice because you have less pots and pans to clean up. My BIL has one to cook meals for himself out in the oil field. I can see the convenience in that.

Depends if you cook, and if you do, what kind of cooking. Easiest way to think about it is a slow cooker that gets the same results in a fraction of the time. It accels in soups, rice, and anything where liquid is involved.

It can obviously do much more, especially in sauté mode, but it's core functionality is high pressure cooking.

A lot of people say they prefer this one to the wifi one when reading the reviews on Amazon for the Wifi model. This one has a lot more setting and features on the machine itself

Kohl's is a better deal. Use code JOY30 to get 30% off. Takes the price down to $76.99 + $10 Kohl's cash, making this cheaper than Amazon.

A lot of people prefer the Duo Plus with the individual button instead of the single wheel. If the spinning wheel fails down the road, then your whole pot is useless. Plus it's faster and easier to use than spinning the wheel.

They all can fail, just get the one that suits your individual needs most. I have the ultra, it's much more sexier, lol
