This book is good for both boys and girls but if you want the subject to be male-specific, try Iggy Peck the Architect. It's not on sale though.

Overreact much?

Are you assuming santy83 is a male?

Go take your ideals elsewhere, and stop making such ridiculous assumptions.

Oops, I misread the title on the little icon. I thought it said "Rosie Reverse Engineer" and thought that it was an onboarding manual for new hires at a Chinese tech company.

This is a great book. I've read it many times to my daughter and the pics are also fun.

It's good for both girls and boys; just because the main subject is a good girl doesn't make it just a girl book. I have this and Ada Twist: Scientist, as well.

I own this book and read it to my daughters frequently. Great book with a very positive message, especially for girls. Was actually read by astronaut Kate Rubins as part of Story Time from Space aboard the International Space Station.

I read this book so much to my 3 year old, the bindings tore and cover is gone.

One of my favorite kids books. All three are great: Iggy Peck (easily the best), Ada Twist and Rosie Revere. Madame Chapeau is good too but doesn't match the other three.

Iggy Peck really is absolutely brilliant.

Ada Twist: Scientist is really good indeed; my son and I always enjoy that one. Smilie

I love the message but I can't say the implementation is very good. My daughter and i are completely bored of this book after just a couple read-throughs. A better example of female positive science/engineering is Willow's Moonship.

It's $8.99 at Target too, ends up being cheaper with RedCard.
