Nice to see some deals other than Klipsch and Polk, but they're claimed MSRP is way off. These prices are close to what they are everywhere else.

Example, these are always this price at A4L

I wonder why is the chorus 716 2.5 way but then it has 2 cross over frequencies (300hz and 3000hz) that would suggest 3 way.

I have the 926 and the sound is absolutely STUNNING. This is a no-brainer if you are looking for real audiophile speakers.

How are the mids? I usually have to turn down 1khz to 3khz -3db on most speakers as I don't find those frequencies pleasant (it might be my room not treated well). I also like crisp highs (above 10khz).
Have you ever owned Klipsch and if so how do they compare?

I just picked up a pair. I am pretty stoked. I had been looking for the piano finish on the 926 after the last Adorama bundle deal. I already have two subs so I think the 926 should be the sweet spot for me. I am going to have to pick up the center channel at some point for timbre matching across the LRC but I can wait for a deal on that. Replacing some DefTech BiPolars with the 926 which have treated me well but I had been itching to upgrade.

Focals website doesn't list Accessories4less as authorized but they don't list Adorama either. Anyone knows ?

That is a pretty good price for those 926's for what you get. Another option for someone who may be looking to build or upgrade with these and thinking a little to much right now.
You could get the 906's (decent price for those also) for now, save and get the center then go after the 926's and move the 906's as surrounds. Get a decent sub and you will end up with a pretty darn good set up.

Most likely only one of the mids play below 300hz. So one mid is band-passed from 300-3khz, while one plays 3khz and below.

They are fantastic across the entire range. Very faithful vocal reproduction and nice separation of the mids from the treble to the base. I will also say that even though Focal trumpets (rightfully) their linen woofers in their marketing, the twitters on these are really brilliant.

A little bit disheartened to see all the home theater questions. Does no one listen to music anymore? Confused

I know - I had to settle for the wood finish (bought mine two years ago when they first went on sale but only in walnut), which is very beautiful, but the piano finish would be a better complement to the rest of my decor. Also, the MSRP on these used to be higher; I am guessing the euro has dropped against the dollar since, so this is a very good deal.

Welp. Just received my order of one 926 and not the pair. Called Adorama and they said they would get back to me in a couple of business days regarding the issue. Pretty annoying. Hopefully this is resolved quickly as I have now paid $2000 for one 926 which is $350 more than one retails for. Cmon Adorama.
