Walmart is giving a $30 discount when you buy a "bundle" of two Cooper tires (select models). This is a good deal for people who only need 2 tires (since all of the common tire rebate deals require a purchase of 4 tires). It's also good for people who drive smaller cars as the $30 discount increases the percentage of savings on tires with low starting prices.

Most models can be shipped either to a store or free to your home.

Browse to the Tire Department [walmart.com] and click "Savings on Cooper Tires" under "Special Offers".
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Called Walmart and was told that they charge $14.50 for mount and balance and old tire discard (which is cheaper than any of the shops in my area). All told I was looking @ $110 per tire (4x Cooper CS5 Touring) for them to be shipped to Walmart and fully installed.

I called up Mr. Tire and they matched the Cooper deal with the Yokohama Tornante tire (which has a higher limited treadwear warranty (5,000 miles more than the CS5)). If I didn't mention this deal to them their standard price for the Tornante is $175 per tire installed ($700 total) so I saved $255 when purchasing 4 tires installed and got a better tire to boot.

Take home: Use this deal to get a solid price from a competitor.

Are you smoking loud? (jokingly/not insultingly)

Coopers are totally equivalent to BFGs. As a guy who has had 3 different sets of BFGs, and pounds 60K/year on a beat up impala. I can say with confidence that coopers are the shit.

I think if I needed some I would hit these guys up.

I bought a set a few years ago, supposedly rated for 70K miles. Didn't last even 30K miles. I am not buying Cooper tires again.

I fixed the link in the OP. Alternatively, you can browse to the Tire Department [walmart.com] and click "Savings on Cooper Tires" under "Special Offers".

Try this link, if its giving you shit, if it still doesnt work - look at the instructions below.

https://www.walmart.com/cp/tires/1077064

Try this if its taking you to a different page.
  • Go to the Tires main page (where it says "last chance savings")
  • On the special offers tab to the left of the screen - click on Savings on Cooper Tires (not Cooper Tires)
  • Then it opens a page of this 30 off discount

I have a set of 4 CS5's - they are equivalent to BFGoodrich.

I have been doing uber on these tires - and they take the beating well. I would recommend.

So $180 for 4 tires. Then about $90 for mount and balance.

I don't understand why it costs me 50% the cost of tires, just to get them installed. Crazy.
