bluetooth for a toothbrush?
lol

All these extra features are a waste of money. You only need a normal sonic care (or Oral-B) with a built-in timer (30 second interval for each quadrant of your mouth). Otherwise, these are all mostly the same in effectiveness (yes, I looked up the studies at PubMed). Save yourself some money and get the normal series 2 for $20-30/on sale, and use the savings for the sonic care replacement brushes which cost a fair amount.

Don't believe the hype. Bluetooth for a toothbrush...hilarious.

p.s. That up and down motion shown in the Diamondcare video looks like if not used properly (i.e. away from the gum line) could stress the gums by pushing down on them. This is the exact motion some believe contributes to gum recession (it's the first question a dentist asks when they see gum recession, are you brushing down onto your gum?).

With respect... I've spent good money on electric toothbrushes myself, but what's so good about this? I think I spent maybe $60 for a two pack at Costco within the last few years, and it works fine for my uses

Honest question: is there really that big of a difference between using a series 2 and one of these higher end models?

Just a heads up, we got a diamond clean from Kohls a few months ago and they had the MIR advertised with a link on the Kohls page. Phillips denied it when we mailed it in.

Nothing. It's how Sonicare and Oral-B get folks to spend more money on their new models.

Simple answer is, no there isn't. I asked my dentist. He said they're basically the same except for the fancy extras which don't benefit the cleaning.

If you travel a lot, being able to charge this in its case with a USB cable is a nice feature. How much more is it worth? That's up to you.

This is NOT $80. It's $100 after MIR. Kohl's cash is not real cash so shouldn't be treated as a discount. Title should show $100 after MIR +$20 Kohl's cash. Kohl's cardmembers only
