This description is wrong you have compared to the pictures. You get 1 AC outlet and 2 USB. Just in case someone wanted the 2 AC outlets.

He's not asking if you can use it in a car, but, I think, whether it's good FOR the car. As in, will it break the car.

No, but it'll drain your battery in a couple hours if you're not running the engine and are using this with a heavy load.

I bought this during the September deal mentioned above. Quality is good. It's quiet. It inverts the power. No complaints from me. Two thing I liked is it has a power button on the bottom so it. An be turned off to avoid power draw. Also it's mountable and easily slides in and out of the mount.

I have one. Perfect for camping, allows us to run the car and charge multiple phones or quickly fill an air mattress.

We simply use our regular plug in chargers with this as the USB is slow.

I picked this up when it was $11 in September. It would be good for lighting a campsite...say, using three or four painter's lamps with LED bulbs.

But other than that, it doesn't have many applications that I can think of. It's marketed as 140 watts, but that's peak. The continuous rating is only 100 watts.

Using it to charge phones is gimmicky at best. If you have access to a 12v power port, you can get multiport USB chargers with QC capability for less money that are much more efficient.

For $11, I have no regrets, but it may never get out of the package.
