The 1939 vintage is a fantastic guitar and really slick deal if you get a 2017 model with solid rosewood.

I am a real fan of washburn guitar. It's sound and build quality is comparable with other brand.

I have the Woodline 100 and it's a fantastic guitar for the price and doubly so at $350. Great playability and tone.

Newbie question on Woodline 100. What does semi acoustic mean? Is it a good choice for a beginner?

Mislabeled. A semi-acoustic is a semi-hollow body guitar which this is not. The purpose of going into a guitar shop is to play around with different models to get an idea of what type/style you are most comfortable with. But at the end of the day, a beginner guitar can be anything you wish to buy.

Usually semi acoustic means it's an electric/acoustic. Based on the description I would say it's a fine guitar for beginners.

I'm looking for a thin body acoustic electric guitar similar to Ibanez AEQ210T which has a depth size of only 2-3/4". Is the Woodline 100 what I need? This is for a beginner.

A semi-acoustic is a solid body with chambers and something like F holes, so going to be mislabeled in the case of Washburn acoustics. As to a good guitar for a beginner, you don't really gain much playability-wise past somewhere around $200-300 for the guitar itself (i.e not counting electronics). You are already in the range of diminishing returns for soujd quality at this point, and if you double your money, you aren't going to get double the guitar, but perhaps another 10-15 percent. Body-size/shape, Neck Feel, and quality construction can all be had at this price range, and those are the most important. Personally, I have the top end Washburn Comfort Series WCG25SCE (or something like that) that came in around $750, and the consensus of other guitar players on a blind guess seem to be that of about a $1400 instrument. Whatever you get, make sure it it setup well with an appropriate action. Beginners do NOT know how to do that themselves.

Does Adorama have free returns for damaged guitars? They're return policy isn't clear with guitars.
