Bought this last time and not really impressed.Going to return. Its good for a mirrorless or a PS, but not for slr. The lock mechanism is so bad makes it very unusable and slides down when turn if needed. Also when fully extended its very woobly and unusable outside with slightest of wind blowing. But its well built, light, great size, and good for small camera and when not full extended.

Got mine from the last deal. Great little tripod. Really impressed with the size, weight, and build quality. Might pick another one up as gift.

I bought this when on a sale last time.. its not that bad as some reviews say.. one should learn to use it, especially on tightening of legs.. I would say it's a good portable tripod @ $30..

This isn't meant for DSLR. You will be disappointed, but for everything else. It is great.

I bought this a few months ago to use it as a travel tripod to my Peru trip. It is completely useless even for a moderately heavy cameras. I have Sony A7 with kit lens which is probably on the lighter side compared to most DSLRs and yet the tripod struggled to stay intact. The locks are very finicky. I would not risk thousands (or even hundreds) of dollars of equipment by trying to save a few bucks.

Gorillapod 3K is much better product than this.
