I've had my LeafPro for about three years. It works great with the huge wheeled bin the city provides (120 gallons?). It barely fits around the square lid, but it does fit. It mulches the leaves down about 15 times.

I bought a spare "refurbished" one in the last Worx eBay sale for this price. The one I got seems brand new.

I use it with this blower/mulcher:

Worx WA4054.2 LeafPro Universal Leaf Collection System with Multi-Fit Adapter and 8' Hose https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZMUE...jCbB0YDP05

Amazon reviews look back and forth. Some say it's not worth it and poorly designed. Others say it works flawlessly.

I'm tempted, but don't want to spend $14 on something that'll just sit if it happens to indeed be poorly designed.

no, but it does fit over a standard garbage can.

I got the worx leaf blower / mulcher and this and I don't use either one anymore. It is time consuming to empty the leaf mulcher and the leaves are very fine and dusty. Using the hose on a garbage can, sometimes if not tied tight enough it blows off the can and fills up very quickly.

Maybe their leaf shredder into a bag would be worth getting in terms of convenience.

It's easier to just bag them with a rake and possibly what would be more useful for me is the pair of hand rakes.

any advice on quality?
I grabbed one about 2 months ago since I had a lot of leaves to mulch and the tiny bag my Black & Decker mulcher comes with was not going to cut it. Overall it works pretty good and is better than using just the small bag if you have a lot leaves to mulch. Below are my comments about this:

- If your leaves are very dry it will create cloud of leaf dust that constantly gets blown out from this. It's basically a mesh netting that goes over a large trashcan that is attached to a plastic hose and since it needs to breath it will blow air out along with the mulch dust. In my last mulching my leaves were sort of wet from snow so not that much of an issue with the dust until I got to the bottom of the pile that was dry, I just sprayed some water on it from the hose but not too much so it didn't get all gummed up in the mulcher.

- This fits a 32 to 96 gallon sized trash can and has a cord to squeeze it around the top so it doesn't move or get blown away once you turn it on. This alone might work but it depends on the type of trash can you use. On my trash can it just goes over the top of it and not much room to pull down so I also use a bungee cord to keep it extra tight around the trash can.

- I use a wheeled Toter 32 gallon trash can. The wheels help when you have to move around to different piles of leaves around your yard if that's how to mulch your leaves (rake into piles and then mulch those piles). I use that trash can because I had it just sitting there when the city gave out their own cans to use but you can use any trash can since they're not that heavy to move around, even when full of leaves.

- I like to put my leaves into brown paper leaf bags even though it creates a bit more work for me since I have to empty the trash can into the brown paper leaf bags. You do have the option of just putting a plastic bag inside of the trash can you use and then just pull the bag out for ease of use.

i purchased this item nearly a month ago and just last weekend it helped me mulch 16 yard waste bags full of leaves. i can't imagine how annoying it would have been to do the same job with the mulch bag included with the Worx Tri-Vac considering the suction power decreases as the bag fills.

the drawstring locking mechanism on this is not great, but it will do the job. definitely worth the money IMO.

I wonder if this would work as a DIY dust collection system for my miter saw.

I agree. I had the set too and ended up tossing it. Does it work? Yes but took a lot of time. Plus all the dust and having to maneuver it. I ended up just mulching the leaves more often with a lawn mower. Obviously depends on how much leaves you get. But I only had 2 large trees in the back and 2 large ones in the front. It was doable for me to mulch.
