Where did all the morons go stating how vega was going to kick nvidia a$$....you know this is just beta man.....oh wait till the drivers are mature.....I'm tired of nvidia ripping me off....I'm going buy vega to help support AMD because they deserve it. I'm glad AMD picked up market share with the CPU lineup ( good job AMD) but could not believe how many people were guessing and judging on a card with no reviews. I hope this will help dampen commits this next go around whether it's Nvidia or AMD on new releases.
Just hope their next cards compete. Nvidia needs competition else we're stuck paying $1400 for GPU's. Keeping my 1080ti for a while.

What are you talking about. AMD cards are competing already in everything below 4k and only fraction of the users even have 4k.

In any case, this is not a good deal if performance per $ is the main criterion.

Umm, this card beat everything but the 1080 Ti and it is still running a ton of games faster than the RTX 2070. Not sure why that's an issue for you guys, but this is a great card!

Also, these AMD cards were significantly better than the 10 series when it came to content creation, so you got the best of both worlds by simply choosing AMD here. Things like Blender rendering weren't even close as an RX 580 would match the performance of the GTX 1080 and the Vega cards would downright clean the floor with the 1080.

Anyway, the point is, not everything on the PC is about gaming.

They're actually competing in 4K too, as the AMD cards improved as resolution increased and the Nvidia would tend to drop frames unless you were working with the highest end Nvidia cards.

AMD Vega needs to be $350 to compete. Nvidia RTX 2060 just launched and it beats the GTX 1080 and Vega. Sorry AMD, you gotta try harder.

I agree. I want to pull the trigger on a Vega 64, but I feel they are still just a smidgen too high at $400. $350 for Vega 64 and $300 for Vega 56 would be optimal.

I'm NOT saying that is particularly reasonable or even fiscally possible, but with the RTX 2060 coming out on the 15th for $349 they're going to have to do something to compete!

Vega 64 is still a solid card. In for 1.

No use for the games... tom Clancy's division 2, resident evil 2, Devil may cry 5.

Anyone interested in grabbing the game bundle off of me?

I can give you a slickdeal!
