Same as this previous deal but $60 cheaper!

FUJI X-A3 is Fuji's entry level camera and excellent for beginners and hobbyists alike. Its successor is the recently launched X-A5 which currently retails for $599.

It's actually quite helpful. Since you've got 5.3k rep, surely you know that being able to see what price points have been available in the past helps many of us choose whether to pull the trigger. This isn't heythisisonsale.net, even if it's looking more and more like exactly that.

This camera is much more than a glorified selfie cam. It can take pictures very similar to entry level DSLRs. It has an APS-C size sensor and the great JPEG quality that Fuji is known for. There is also a firmware update that improves the AF speed.

For a beginner like me, having no viewfinder seems like a deal breaker?

Not sure about the body, but I will say the lens is actually a solid deal at this price. It goes to 16mm (24mm in 35mm equiv) which is wider than most "kit" lenses, and I found the performance to be very good.

I already have a Canon EOS M that I love. I feel like this camera is offering similar features. Thoughts anyone?

Lack of good AF is why this is probably not selling well. It's a glorified selfie cam that's supposed to motivate iphone users to step up.

Your M is probably better at that.

Not at all. It would be great if it comes with a viewfinder, but it's not a dealbreaker. The screen swivel so you can try interesting angle for some shots.

Not bad at all. I was looking into getting just the lens last summer for my XT1 and it alone goes for about $180. Could never get myself to buy it cuz the lens uses a plastic mount - if they did that just to save a nickel, I have to question the overall quality of the lens.

Great deal on a nice 1st mirrorless system. Larger 24mp sensor than the Olympus or Panasonic. LCD screen does flip and like the old twin reflexes viewfinder of old. Plus the touchscreen is useful for quick settings. If your not in NY, no tax.

Also available through Adorama's eBay store [ebay.com] or their Rakuten store [rakuten.com]. While there aren't any additional discounts at eBay right now, Rakuten has $30 back in points when paying with Mastercard (or you could risk waiting for one of their common 15-20% off sitewide sales).
