I order a TON on Amazon, much of which comes from SD deals.

On December 2nd I ordered some cat food due to a deal. The order came to $11.93 after tax.

Today I noticed a S&S shipment is coming in early January. Lazily looked over my orders and I see an order for the same cat food placed December 25th for $19.52.

WTF ... 12/25 I was at family functions all day, I sure wasn't shopping that day!

Dug in a little more and nobody at Amazon can tell me what happened to my order on 12/2. No record, they say!

The only email I ever received about that cat food was on 12/2 which is my confirmation email for the $11.93 order. No cancellation email. No reorder email on 12/25.

Looking more closely through my orders and guess what - I found two other items just like this. Mysteriously cancelled and reordered at full price.

I order so much through Amazon that I'd never have noticed these fraudulent practices unless I was really diving into my order history as I'm doing now.

Anyone else noticing scammy practices by Amazon?

Currently on hold for over 42 minutes with Amazon 'support' who simply can not tell me what happened or why. Awesome.

Threw a PSA together and put it in Hot Deals to hopefully catch a few eyeballs. Totally shady - Amazon is not the company they used to be!
