there are different forms of creatine. creatine monohydrate is the tried and true. there are forms like creatine magnesium chelate or creatine orotate that may improve its effectiveness (by absorption or its own performance enhancing benefits), but not worth paying the premium. and then there are gimmick forms like creatine ethyl ester or creatine serum that should be avoided. short answer, stick to creatine mono.

so in terms of creatine monohydrate, yes, creatine is creatine. as long as the products meet label claims, the results will be the same. the only difference is where it is made. only a handful of companies in the world are capable of mass producing creatine and one of them is in germany, two in china, and two in the US...they are responsible for majority of creatine production on the market.

the only difference here is that the german brand (creapure) is the gold standard when it comes to quality control--purity and consistency. chemicals are involved synthesizing creatine so inevitably, there will be byproducts/impurities. dicyandiamide is the common starter for making creatine and this contaminant (along with dihydrotriazine, creatinine, and sodium) are typically found in trace amounts. this is where creapure shines because they are consistently (through testing) the purest creatine on the market (e.g. creapure being 99.99% pure whereas other chinese/US origin being 99.9% or less). in terms of athletic performance or body composition, the microscopic difference will not make or break. but just throwing out there since creatine is already so cheap and i would personally choose a reputable brand that carries creapure (and ideally micronized so it mixes/dissolves better).

in terms of this particular product/brand, i despise iovate/muscletech. i've been in this industry a long time and they are bullies and i don't need to explain when it comes to their fraudulent marketing/claims and bad behavior (protein spiking)

The coupon seems to apply to multiple subscriptions. So subscribe to 5 (separate order for each), and get them for $3.44 each. (20% off coupon + 15% S&S max discount)

$4 crazy. I remember going to GNC and dropping $100 every month for creative, protein, vitamins.

What does this mean? How do I do this? I have to cancel my subscription after the order ships though right?

if you've never tried creatine before I strongly recommend a tiny tiny amount at first

I turned out to be highly allergic to it, bought a cheap whey at the grocery store on clearance that had it added (this brand actually) and wow was that a terrible surprise
