I have this phone, and going to sell it. The camera on it is terrible. I have a little one and hate that most of my pictures are super low quality.

Is the Amazon Prime version with its apps and restrictions acceptable over the Best Buy version?

At these specs, you would be better served buying a Moto G6 or even a G5 Plus.

For those asking about band 71 (the new 600mhz spectrum that tmobile is deploying in mostly rural and some dense urban areas) here is a link to maps of coverage and scroll down for phones that have it http://www.spectrumgateway.com/600-mhz-spectrum

Nothing special about the moto g6. Just bought the google fi $99.

Damn thing does not even cast screen(miracast) to smart TV. Even all my cheapest phones, besides lg, do miracast.

Looking to sell the g6. Brand new. Never used outside the house. Includes unopened tempered glass protector. My cost, you pay ship. Highly repped, senior members only.

I wanted to suggest that as an option to this LG Stylo. One of the best value for money options would be a couple of years old flagship

T-Mobile users: this phone lacks band 71. Last week, I travelled around Northern CA with a new phone with band 71. The improvement is massive. My new phone is a dual sim phone and I get more usable signal with tmo than vzw. Did the same trip 2 months ago with the S8+ and the tmo signal wasn't this good.
We're waiting. What's the phone?

is this phone easy to root?

need a rootable phone for android auto
It's my understanding that Amazon phones all have their bootloader locked so there's no way to root.

Are you using it on Xfinity mobile service? Are you using the Xfinity mobile service and if so how do you like it. Looking at it as a pretty cheap mobile service. If I understand it correctly all you pay is $12 per GB of shared data and no extra charge per phone. Looks like you have to purchase an expensive phone through them tho if you want Android.
Can't speak for the service even though I have it (using for emergency), but I've heard that even though they don't officially support BYOD android yet, putting their sim card into an unlocked android phone works fine. There might be small quirks here and there depending on brand of phone but flagships should be okay.
