Taking a look at Brickseek I came across this deal- supposedly some areas are as low as $49, mine (Florida) most all Walmarts seem to be discounted down to $99.

As usual (especially lately) this is YMMV so be sure to use Brickseek to get an idea for current inventory and current discount. And for those interested in this: may the odds be in your favor you find an employee willing to assist.

"Limited Stock" really means "Needle in a Haystack".

A few days ago I drove to five different Wallys...every one of them showing "In Stock", not "Limited"...for a Samsung tablet deal. Not a single one to be found.
Haha I remember this one.
Someone took a 3-hour drive (One-way) for these Samsung tablets

I've come to learn don't tell them what your looking for with much detail, find an associate with a handheld, and have them look it up. I've yet to find one whose number didn't agree with Brickseek. It is harder to convince them to actually go look for it, but I'd say I'm 75% plus on getting things if they go look.

Best one recently was the $20 4K blu ray player. Kid working in electronics swore he'd never even heard of a Sanyo 4K, but surprisingly found it in under 30-seconds once I pushed him to check in the back. Don't know if they are just lazy, or if they are saving them for friends, etc..

Good suggestion. I should've ask her to scan it in front of me. Darn it.

Anyone had receipt that shows the price as $49 or $99. I am planning to do a Citi price rewind.

Very ymmv.
Was posted in November: https://slickdeals.net/f/12269371-dell-inspiron-11-3000-2-in-1-11-6-hd-pentium-n3710-4gb-ddr3l-500gb-hdd-99-walmart-in-store?v=1&src=SiteSearch
Brickseek for big ticket items are a hit and miss, especially when they are posted on Slickdeals. After it posted on Slickdeals after a week or two, the chances are very slim.
You also have to keep in mind Brickseek is also shared on Social media: Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook groups.
Most important: Brickseek is third party and should only be used as a cross reference to the Walmart app. Read their disclaimer and never mention Brickseek to an employee.

I looked HARD for these a while back as well as again just last week but never found a single one at any of the Wal-Mart locations showing stock.

I was also told by multiple Electronics dept managers that Wal-Mart hasn't carried Dell computers in over a year.

Usually I file statements like that as lies Wal-Mart Associates tell, but I bought some of the Dell laptops when Wal-Mart phased them.out and put them on clearance and so I believe it to be true.

The BS results are inventory miscounts, shrinkage, or bad API data.

Don't waste the fuel looking for these white elephants.

Citi don't match the receipt or screenshot of the lower price at rack. They would ask the online screenshot or printed circular from the store.
