Possibly. Not to do the whole time machine thing, but, this was $280 in early December at Macy's. What made that sweeter was cashback through Be Frugal. AFAIK, Costco doesn't offer cashback through any sites.

How is the 3rd party app support on this? It's a nice looking watch, but assuming the decision to stick with Tizen over Wear OS will continue to affect the availability of apps.

I've found the select of apps to be somewhat... Lacking.

On my todo list for this month is to get their SDK environment running and try to scratch a couple of itches in that regard.

Apps are basically non-existent. Truthfully though, most of my friends with smart watches don't really use apps anyway. They have health trackers, notification machines, and a way to send short replies.

Tempted to go back to Android soon. Does this have the ability to use Google assistant or is Bixby any decent?

Had an Apple watch for over a year and haven't used apps on it. Mainly use it to see notifications and control music. Although considering the price I'd probably be better off with a cheaper Wear alternative. Then again Samsung pay would be nifty to have.

I think what might make this a good deal is the extra charger. I read somewhere that they were about $40 for another one.

I have one of these. Very nice build quality. Battery life is very good. 4 days for me. I keep brightness at 70% wifi on, GPS off.. 46mm is on the bigger side but it very comfortable to wear because it doesn't have the crown that digs into your skin. It doesnlt have much 3rd party app support, but all the native Samsung app is enough for me.

I use my galaxy watch 4 every day, mostly for notifications, calls, and fitness tracking. Don't really use a lot of apps, but the watch works well.

I got the 42mm, I found the 46mm to be too big for my liking.

Does this have to be purchased online or can I go to the warehouse close to my home? I've been looking to get the 46mm version for a while and I think, at this price, I'll pull the trigger.

My daughter loves Apple products. She has ipad pro, ipod, iphone. But she tried out all the watches and she picked the Samsung Galaxy over Apple Watch. That is quite an endorsement.

I played around with this watch and found it also has a very accurate barometer/altimeter.

The round face on the Samsung just works better ergonomically. You just twist the bezel as opposed to the small knob on Apple watch.

Thumbs up.

call your warehouse to be sure of course, but they've had these on display in store since at least november here.
