Not a bad deal if you missed black Friday. Best Buy had this exact deal for $40, which I snagged. For the price, I'm going to say if you have not played any Bayonetta games, then it's worth it. If you've played both on prior releases, and you just want to have it to have it, then it has gone lower.

It was $40, not $30 on BF

You're right, thanks for correcting me. I looked at my receipt and the only reason I remembered paying 30 was due to my rewards credit. Fixed the reply.

I plan on waiting for just 2 to go on a digital sale. I have the first one as a free game on xbox and it's seriously not that special anymore, It's almost a 10 year old game.

So glad they released Bayonetta 2 on the Switch. I would have never gotten the chance to play it since I refuse to buy the WIi U. I still don't know anyone IRL that has a Wii U lol.

Part 1 may be old but has high replayability. The alfheim portals were a blast. They were just tough enough to push the edges of my gaming capability. I'm just an casual gamer, so it definitely felt like an achievement when I completed them all. That being said, Part 1 did have issues. Some gameplay variations (especially in the latter half of the game) were polarizing, and it had annoying quick-time events here and there.

The second part was much more polished with perfect pacing. They did away with the quick-time events and set pieces were cohesive with rest of the game. However, they made the game a bit easier, which made it a bit less enjoyable (at least for me). The portals were not that challenging and one could button-mash their way through most of the game. Triggering 'witch-time' was much easier ('witch-time' is Bayonetta's mechanic to dodge an attack at the last moment to slow down time). Though I haven't done it myself, if you are a competent gamer, I would recommend playing part 2 at higher difficulty than 'Normal'.

Regarding buying digital - may not be worth waiting. Who knows when it'll go on sale on digital. With Bayo 3 coming out end of this year, might as well have the whole set.

I picked this up recently and am really enjoying Bayonetta 1. I hear Bayonetta 2 is even better so I would HIGHLY recommend this deal!
