Bummer about the new line requirement. Otherwise I'd bite. Thanks for posting.

Add a line to your family account. Cancel and old one and keep the new one active for the duration of your installment period. Downside you do lose an old phone number but some people get so many spam calls, they don't mind a new number. If you have young family members, most won't care as long as they get something out of the deal. For example, add a line, cancel your son/daughter's line give them the free phone or mom and dad get new phones and they get your hand me down.

Last year for valentines, costco gave you two free "mobile" kits with the bogo iPhone valentines offer.
It included an extra charger and stuff.

If you get $150 cash card and the "mobile kit(s)" that would be epic.

Edit 1
I think it was ~$35 dollars each for att activation.

Edit 2
If the bogo deal was only good for up to $750 i would say this is a ok deal if you just have to have the new iphone right now.

however i just want to remind everyone with what att did last year for valentines bogo offer.
att only offered $750 bogo iphones for the first week where you just paid extra if you wanted the iphone x or larger screen version.
then for the 2nd week they offered a true bogo offer on the iphone x and you didnt have to pay extra.

me personally i am holding out for a true bogo offer on the iphone xs max.

Yup they are called TYLT packs. They usually come with car charger, wall charger, usb c, usb mini, external bettery and carrying case but that rotates in and out.

AAL (add-a-line) deals suck unless you actually need another line or can cancel it right away.

Also, OP, please state that the value of the BOGO is paid out via 24 or 30 months of bill credits.

And it is paid out in bill credits for the value of the lowest priced phone only.

To make matters worse, the bill credits start within 3 billing cycles. So customers are paying in full for up to 3 billing cycles. This means customers are basically entering into a 27 month or 33 month contract for a "free" iphone. EEK!

They are waiving $30 activation instead of giving the free accessories. Cash card was $200 before Christmas.

Thanks for the post, just want to note if you haven't noted it yet, the value of the ***free iPHone*** is only valued up to $750, so if you go for the XS MAX with 512 GB, then it is like other slick deal members stated, Buy One Get One at 50%.

You're right its been a while since I posted a front page deal, I was in a rush forgot to put some details in the title.

With that being said you're wrong about extending the contract 3 additional months. What happens is that you pay for both phone for the first three months and on the fourth month you get a refund for the first three months on the phone ATT is supposed to pay from the gecko. Then from that month you pay for one phone and att pays for the other.

At&T chat says after 30 days you can move sim from old phone to new phone and drop old line. Has anyone done this?
