Yes but 65" 6 series is $900+. I have a 65" 6 series in my living room. I am thinking this would be good for a bedroom. 5 Series picture looked good in person to me.

The lowest I saw of 6 series is 722.00 after lot of coupons at Target, it's consistently around 850 elsewhere.

I do, in fact, want the 6 series. I also want the 6 series at this price. Sadly, not today.
Hell even if I saw it drop into the 800s today I'd pick it up.

Anyone know the difference between the 65s517 and this 65s513? I have the s517 in the bedroom and it is great. Thinking of getting another for the living room to replace my 60" samsung that is a few years old. I would also like the r617, but with the time of year and their varying performance history, I would expect clearance prices on those to start showing up around the $750 price point in a few months, and potentially refurbs hitting the market soon as well.

Checking older posts on this model, it seems this is the same model as the S517, but renamed to avoid price matching.

Buy the 6 series if you want a better picture. Buy the 5 series if you want a better deal.

It seems like the best option is to wait a few more weeks as the Superbowl is known for great TV deals.

This seems like a good price, but im hoping for a 6 series around $800 in a few weeks.

The 6 series is nicer for sure, but for the price you can't beat these things. I have the 4 series from Walmart BF ad and I really like the picture. We put it in the game room for the kids, and I really like the TV. This is a super solid TV for a bedroom, patio, or a secondary living area of the home.

I've seen this and the 4 series side by side and they are both virtually identical. Best to wait for another deal on the 4 series 65".

Hm. My 58" Hisense has been decent but the Netflix app doesn't work.

Maybe I'll send that one back and throw an extra couple hundred for a bigger, better TV.

that's my plan read many reviews and while there are differences they seem minor at best. between the lower price and price difference i think the 4 is a better buy for me. currently the 65" 4 series is 529.99 at my local costco and 499 elsewhere. EDIT-at costco now 489.99 now for the 4 series 65".
