The best deal for a pair of subwoofers with box, I've seen in a long time! Normally they sell for 150+ each.

Junk box, great deal on 2 capable starter subs if you are getting into SPL competition.

Depends on what you are using them for. Why are you considering these subs?

Because they are cheap and I already own an amp and I just got an Escalade so my old single 10" won't do it. Not competitions or anything

If you are using subs for music I would look for something in the $150 range, dual 2 ohm. New American Bass Xd1522 15 Inch Dual 2 Ohm Subwoofer Car Audio Sub 15" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K24Z...lCb4PAV064

SOUNDSTORM EV5000D is a good choice especially if you put the speakers in parallel which will bring the ohms down to 1ohm

You gonna need a lot of power for that. Alpine pdx-m12 amp is a good start.

Best bet would be two of these wired to 2 ohms total. One sub wired to 4 ohms won't be enough power unless you have a YUGE amp. Not a lot of amps are 1 ohm stable and they're more finicky and run hot at 1 ohm. ///just realized this is a deal for 2 subs///It bugs me when manufacturers claim *10 million watts!!1!1!* (In this case 3000) when it's actually a 1500 watt RMS speaker. A good amp with 2000 watts RMS at 2 ohms should make two of these hit really hard.

Makes me feel inferior. My JL 12w6v3 is only 600 watts max. This pair must be almost exactly 10x better.

Did you hope to feel superior for spending 7x more on half as many subs?

I do. Although I didn't spend anywhere near 7x as much.

kidding aside, I wasn't trying to sound superior. just pointing out the stupidity of the wattage ratings on shit low end subs like these.

I would surely save the money for a w/anything before wasting money on these, but I'm just bored trying to add some dialogue for those considering this deal. Plus the YouTuber Steve Meade and his amp tests have opened my eyes to what good equipment can be today
