Don't just thumb down this because you don't like the google's initial price for the the slate. This is the only deal out there bringing this slate price down....a bit...
So to me it's a deal for those who are ready to pay the full price now showing at BH Video, Best Buy, Google Store...
No other place you get a discount. Just because you guys are not early adopters, does not make this a bad deal... I thought a comparison to prevailing prices elsewhere counted for something.

I think they look at the specs and don't like the price for what you get. Looks weak to me though no idea what the os needs for space, etc.

A lot of reviewers have universally canned it. The performance issues that were present during previews for certain reviewers were still prevalent on release.

I can't believe a company like Google would release something like this.

Nowadays companies are pushing any crap at premium prices. Just ridiculous.

Lol the Google pixel I had to return 5 (FIVE) times before they just finally gave me my money back. Will never buy Google hardware. Roommate is on his 2nd pixel 3 and it too randomly restarts. Google cant do hardware.

i have a pixel 2 which has been working extraordinarily well...

...except last may i broke it, so i needed a replacement. and the replacement they sent me wasn't unlocked. then they told me that it was in their terms of service that they did not have to guarantee an unlocked device as a replacement.

their customer service is certainly garbage.

Agreed, customer service is garbage. I haven't had any issues with the hardware though. My pixel book is running great.

Thanks. This gives me more insight. Frankly, I've never found a good Android tablet that's as useable as iPad. I'm Android on phone but iOS on tablet.
