I won't deny the quality or features of these cameras. They look very cool. But folks, it's time that we the consumer stop buying trail cameras with a one year warranty. I mean, c'mon...you're going to list price a camera at nearly $200 and give it a 1 year warranty?

I won't buy one with less than a two year warranty.

Check out Exodus trail cameras. They literally warranty their cameras for 5 years, even if it gets stolen!

Before I drop nearly $100 on a camera, I'd be looking into that company (or others who fairly warranty) first.

I run way too many cameras to potentially be replacing them every year with no support from the company who made them.

Let's force trail cam companies to stand behind their product longer!

Good deal, I have a dark ops hd, paid about 150 before the season...113 w tax here. Would def by a few more around 75, guess I'll be waiting a generation or two haha. Great camera, and great battery life, way better than all the others I have.

Just bought a Dark Ops thanks to your recommendation - I have a couple of cheaper cameras that have been through a couple of seasons, so it's time to replace them. Thanks for the info!

I have this one Browning Trail Camera Strike Force HD 850. Don't know if it works with all Browning Trail Cameras, but this is nice to have:

https://www.amazon.com/Prometheus...ttery+pack

Camera holds 6 AA batteries, but the External Battery Pack holds 8 AA batteries. Plus use AA Energizer Lithium batteries, and you won't be changing batteries as often.

You make a good point. Hunting season doesn't get underway for the zones I hunt until October. So warranty would be almost through with.

Browning stands behind their cameras way past the warranty period. I had a battery leak on a 4 year old camera and the battery tray was ruined. I did everything I could to clean and fix to no avail. Tossed it in garbage and in way to work I asked Siri for the browning camera number and called browning. They said don't toss is, send it back we will fix it and if not, send you a replacement. I was shocked. $10 to ship it to them and they returned 2 day fed ex at their expense. Very pleased

I was torn between special ops and strike force but the better night pics and longer battery life of the strike force hd pro influenced my final decision, plus its popularity and exceptional reviews. Both are outstanding. All of the browning ameras are exceptional but are generally a little pricey for me. This is a super deal.
