I have a similarly configured desktop except with 16GB instead of 8GB and it's pretty damn good
This i7 is more than capable

Got mine from eBay for 70 bucks. It's i3 and 4 gig ram. But still I would not pay extra 200 bucks for it. 150 is reasonable

I won an auction once at $65 for an i5 setup, but the seller was an idiot and mislisted the auction. It ended up being a 8200 instead of the 8300, which is Sandy Bridge instead of Ivy Bridge and doesn't have USB 3.0. Ended up cancelling

If you can find a i5 8300 for <$100 that might be a better bet tbh

Actually it was a buy it now not an auction, my mistake
