I bought an Acer Swift 1 SF114-32 and it also comes with the N5000 except it's fanless. It's quite a decent quad core CPU which handles most basic tasks without a problem. A few differences compared to this HP though is that my Acer has 4GB of RAM soldered to the board in single channel and ships with a 64GB eMMC SSD that's just ok. Fortunately it has an M.2 slot available which will accept a M.2 SATA SSD increasing storage performance by quite a bit. Unfortunately the RAM is not upgradeable so it's great that you can upgrade to 8GB or more on this HP. Some other great things about my Acer is the 1080p IPS matte display with thin bezels, a finger print scanner for Windows Hello and the whole 14" laptop weighs only 2.8lbs. I did notice that this HP has an exhaust fan grill and being a 15.6" size I imagine it's gotta dissipate the heat the 6W TDP N5000 produces quite easily. I wouldn't be surprised if this HP throttles very little to none and can run at turbo for long periods of time. Lastly, notebookcheck reviewed the SF114-32 and it's battery life lasted 12+ hours. Acer claims "17-20 hours", it varies of course. FYI, Linux Mint works great out of the box too without issues, everything just works. I like these Gemini Lake based PCs especially fanless ones. This HP isn't too bad either.

In short, the only thing in common between your laptop and this one is the CPU...
