Sony WH1000XM3 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones (Silver) and USB-C Power Bank + Free Shipping $297.5

Using the Rakuten SAVE15 coupon brings this bundle down to $297.50, which is as cheap as the Refurbished versions on Rakuten. It is sold by Focus Camera, who is a Sony authorized retailer. As of this posting there are only 11 left.

The power bank looks to be this one from Monoprice [monoprice.com] that retails for $20. Which is a 5,000 mAh 15W USB-C and USB-A capable pack.

From Monoprice:
Power Output: Capable of delivering up to 3A / 15 watts of power to the USB-C™ port or up to 2.4A / 12 watts of power to the USB-A port, this charger is powerful enough to charge multiple power-hungry devices.

Reviews on these are stellar, with most places saying they are equal to or better than the Bose QC35 IIs. Here are some reviews:
The Verge [theverge.com]
Cnet [cnet.com]
WhatHIFI [whathifi.com]

Unbox Therapy just compared these to the Bose a week ago and said he preferred the Sony's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRNqVGfy2O4

The features on these are amazing and help to really separate it from the Bose offering (example: https://youtu.be/cRNqVGfy2O4?t=145). Having used both these and the Bose QC35IIs, I'd consider the Sony to be better overall.

For those folks who are current or prior military, these dropped as low as $250 at AAFES (and no tax) back in December. This did not include a power bank.

This is so tempting. This might be a dumb question but why do I need a usb type C power bank? I have a bunch of chargers and type C cables already.

Are these comfortable enough to workout in?

I love having a power bank for when I travel and might not be near a power outlet or need to charge on the go. The type-C on this can pump out 15W so it is kinda quick at charging which makes it a little nicer than your basic power bank. Only 5000 mAh though.

I think he was asking why usb-C, specifically.

Ah yeah. Well I still kinda answered. This one pumps out more power over type C. Also, this one charges with Type C which is really nice if you are trying to go type C everywhere.

I wouldn't personally use them for working out as they can make your ears feel warm/hot. I usually use in ear blue tooth ones like jay birds

I've never ordered from Rakuten before, are they trustworthy with their deliveries?

Damn. Am waiting for a solid deal similar to that for military personnel. Don't need that bank, and not that color. Otherwise, a great price

Former buy.com. if not the marketplace (those sellers you have check separately), it is a well know site, been around for over a decade

Actually, They went down to $219. Fantastic headphones. I've had the Bose QC25 for a number of years and these are far better in terms of bass and noise cancelling.
