If the black option is worth $5 more to anyone, BestBuy currently has this for $230: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/moto...Id=6272733

I'm looking at buying two of these for my girlfriend and myself. We currently have old (Virgin Mobile) LG Stylo 2s.

We're in USA, what will be needed to switch to these Moto X4 phones? And will we be able to keep our old phone numbers?

While researching getting a SIM card I ran into this message which is confusing me even more:

Q: I also need a virgin mobile sim card. The phone I purchased is an unlocked Moto X4 (Android phone) are they available to purchase inside a retail partner store in Houston TX? We don't have virgin mobile retail stores here.

A: Hey there! Unfortunately, you can't activate an unlocked android device.

The 32GB + 3GB RAM model [bhphotovideo.com] is also back down to $165 AC. Hit frontpage just a few weeks back with 120 thumbs up.

Lately it's been this x4, and the g6 on sale. But I really want is the z3, hope the deal is coming along.

Virgin Mobile only supports bring your own device for iPhones. Not sure why they don't allow Android devices but that's their policy.

Z3 Play...? I don't recall seeing the Z3 (VZ exclusive) on sale. The latter features the same internals as the Z2 Force.

That's weird that they only allow unlocked iPhones. I'd tell then give me a new SIM or I'll switch carriers.

Only option is to switch. Getting a new SIM isn't going to do anything.

Thanks, I had no idea. I wonder why they mention VM on the compatiblity list for this phone, but not many of the others?

We're definitely range-bound with the X4 sales. Hopefully the 64GB model gets to the $160s soon and I'll bite.

Z3 is at $480. Amazon Warehouse has the Z3 Play for < $350. Z2 force isn't on sale right now.

This appears to have bands for every major US carrier, and even CDMA support. That alone makes it an appealing deal for many. SE has a sleeker design obviously.
