Only difference between the Strafe and K70 is the K70 has the aluminum frame, right?

Some shit about the k70 color can't be a million something. The strafe is the improved version of the k70. I remember that when the strafe first came our you can send in the k70 to get it exchanged for the strafe.

If you want quiet, then get switches with "quiet" in the name. There is "Cherry Red Quiet" and "Cherry Red" switch options. Quiet switches are really pretty awesome. even more awesome are switches which require higher force to bottom out than to actuate. Cherry Clear switches do that - see the force graph on https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Clear - and I really like them for typing. It makes it way easier to type without bottoming out. Also, when you have strongly tactile switch like the MX Clear, you can feel the point at which the key has been sent to the computer. The other way of knowing-by-feeling is by bottoming-out the switch (mashing it really hard until it stops moving). Both are fine, but you should know your options.

I will comment on the Corsair "brand" having just bought the wireless "ice blue" model... The keys are cherry mx 'red' but have a deeper -feeling keystroke that gives a little extra clicky-ness (which I enjoy, using Blue switches on my other keyboard). The build is sturdy, though I would always upgrade and pay more for NON-plastic whenever you can. I used to buy Logitech, but had 2 g710+ break in a year which is sad. The key strokes are smooth and overall quality is great. I'm quite a mechanical fanatic, using a few different brands with no real loyalty, so I thought I'd just drop a comment to give my 2 pennies... Bottom line is Corsair makes a great keyboard, but you should never buy a plastic keyboard if buying for mechanical switches.

Just be careful of these. Many reporting issues with the LED's getting a bit wonky after a year or two and start appearing as different colors. Seems like it is their entire line of RGB.
