$719 - 10% with code SPVGAJANTEN - $15 rebate card = $632.99

Shoprunner 2-day shipping, no tax for many, and an additional $15 rebate card, this is the best RTX 2080 deal I could find.

FYI, this is a reference board design, not a Founders Edition board. OC Scanner in applications like MSI Afterburner should get your GPU up to Founders Edition speeds.

Plus free Anthem and Battlefield V codes, too!

First posted deal, hope everything was covered.

AMD just announced their Vega VII GPU. It'll be $699 with 2080 like performance. I think it's safe to say the $250 with 2070 rumor is complete BS
Whats point in AMD card at same price if nvidia is gonna support freesync monitors next week

You are making the wrong comparison. A 2080 is as fast as a 1080 ti. A 2070 which is as fast as a 1080 is $500. If you want a 1080 equivalent buy that.
As a new generation comes out, the prices should stay the same, regardless of whether or not it's equivalent of one previous generation. If we used your comparison, Toyota Camry's would be hundreds of thousands of dollars by now

After AMD's announcement, the Rtx 2080 at this price seems like a deal. On one hand I'm glad AMD is back competing in the enthusiast GPU market but a $699 price tag isn't at all competitive. Especially since similar performing RTX cards having ray tracing and DLSS. Yup so I guess nvidia doesn't really have to lower the price of its cards to compete with Amd

AMD finally raising the prices because people will pay it.

That's not the case for GPU prices in the past, they fluctuate up & down depending on the generation. For example GTX 680 was $500 at launch, GTX 780 was $649 as launch, GTX 980 $549 at launch, GTX 1080 $599 at launch.

Dude, inflation.....
That's like saying the price of gum should be 5 cents forever.

For gaming no. 16 GB HM2 does have advantage for rendering or live streamers. But for purely gaming, there's no point picking AMD over Nvidia unless it's cheaper.

Yes, that's exactly my point. $500-600 at launch. $800-900 is ludicrous.

Yes, within reason. There's a difference between inflation and price gouging. See post above. I could understand $600, maybe 650. $800? No. Ridiculous.

im pretty mad that i missed this... i shop at newegg all the time so the points are same as cash to me. $549 + 2 games is a crazy good deal.

to add insult to injury, newegg just started collecting sales tax in NY, so even if the deal comes back the tax will kill it.

If anyone ended up with an Anthem game code they won't use, I'm happy to buy one for $20.
