That's about how many inches I have. Good size, you can make it work in a small to medium sized space.

Would these be a good choice for Atmos ceiling speakers?

Seems like a great price, but not seeing many reviews on these. Unfortunately I just purchased 4 in ceiling speakers last weekend.

I had the Klipsch R-1650-C in my last home, and they sounded great (accompanied by a Klipsch subwoofer and stand alone center channel). I can't speak for these Polk speakers specifically, but when comparing Klipsch and Polk speakers in store side by side in the past, Polk speakers have never sounded anywhere near as good as Klipsch to me. Go take a listen for youself!

Yes I have four of these in my ceiling that's 13 ft high. Connected to a Denon x3300 receiver. Sound great as surround and atmos sound.... also have them in the kitchen and the 8 inch on the patio

I have the Klipsch R-1650-C for my home theater setup (using them as atmos top speakers) and they sound great. Can't compare to this as I haven't use them, but I also paid a lot more than $39.99 ($89 per speaker). I'd go with the these for the price.

EDIT: I see amazon has the Klipsch R-1650-C for cheaper now at $56 per speaker, so its not as much of a difference in price.

Actually, Fry's has put the R-1650-C on promo for the same price in the past (I had snagged some a while ago, but ended up selling them).

These are excellent speakers for the price. I have 7 of these at my home in the main floor. 5 of them as part of a 5.1 setup paired with a Klipsch 12 inch sub and Yamaha 7.1 receiver. The other 2 speakers are 1 each in kitchen and dining area bi-amped from the Yamaha receiver. The bi-amp replicates the sound from the center speaker from the 5.1 setup. These speakers by themselves have plenty of bass when you play music, but a sub definitely helps while watching movies.

The 7 speakers rock our whole floor when we have parties. Not just parties, even casual TV is great when you have sound coming in the kitchen area from the 1 speaker. I have a dedicated home theater setup in my basement with tower speakers and stuff.

Overall, these speakers are excellent if you want a clean profile with no external speakers and wires. The grills can be painted to match the ceiling color making them virtually invisible. Absolutely worth it if you are on the fence.

Edit: The ones I have are MC80. Just realized these are smaller MC60.
