Nice deal I put it in my cart and looked at it for awhile lol Smilie

The only thing that turned me away was that it didn't have a waist strap to help offset some of the weight with it being a 50l backpack according to the description. I have a 50 liter backpack I use for backpacking so if this is that size it's pretty big for a walking around backpack.

I often use a 20l or 30l stowaway backpack form Eddie Bauer on vacation when we go to a zoo, long walks, gyms, etc. That being said a great deal if you don't have something like this already, they are super handy..

Do alot of people pack their water bottle right next to their laptop?

Many reviews saying it is much smaller than the stated 50L size.

looks cheap with bare minimum support on straps and back, I would not recommend to use this backpack for long trips, one day trip may be fine.

I bought a venture pal packable backpack from a previous deal maybe a year or two ago and wanted to comment that it has lasted me a really long time and I'd absolutely recommend this product based on my experience with another bag by this company. Would I pay $50? No, probably not, but at this price it's a no brainer. I use this for a couple main reasons:
  • I bring it with me when I travel anywhere packed up in my suitcase in case I bring home extra stuff and need another bag
  • I carry it in the trunk of my 50 cc scooter/moped in case I need to pick up a couple things while I'm out and about.
  • I throw it in the glove box in the car when I'm out and about in case I need an extra bag to carry stuff while I'm out running errands.
For this price it's worth buying and throwing somewhere you might find yourself needing an extra way to carry stuff.

the site says the bag is 21 inches by 12 inches by 4.7 inches. That is 19 Liters. Just by looking at the pics you can tell it isn't 50L.

But as mentioned, $11 is about right for this. I wouldn't say it's a great deal. Personally though, I enjoy having a nice backpack so I rock my Dakine with joy and hope it'll last a long time. This might make a good car bag for holding extra clothes and emergency supplies.

I normally use the Eddie Bauer 20L packable bag as a spare. Can anyone speak on the comparison between the two in terms of construction, durability etc? The Venture Pal definitely seems like a better deal.
