Gsync requires a *hardware* element inside a monitor. Freesync and Gsync are *not* the same things.
Will this monitor be better on Nvidia cards next week? Yep.
Will this monitor be exactly the same on Nvidia cards and Radeon cards next week? Yep.

The only reason this is a Slick Deal is because you can't a 144hz G-sync monitor for $190 and after that January 15th driver update, probably never will other than other Freesync monitors that get approval. Sooner or later the market will eat them up.
