Bought this and then return it. The main issue I had with it was the weight — it's was way too light. You'd put your phone on it and it'd be so unstable and sometimes just fall over. There needs to be some sort of weight in the base of the stand to prevent this from happening. The all plastic material they used also felt very cheap. I went with this Ravpower model, which is all metal and super solid with some good weight to it. Also this model has no fan and comes with a QC 3.0 charger in the box

Not really. Heat is the real culprit for diminishing battery life. Like, keep in your hot car heat.
These devices dont really impact battery performance in much of a measurable way, not like excessive heat can over time.

This is a really good article on the subject of safe QI charging:

I stopped worrying and babying my battery once i found out a new battery replacement done by a Samsung Certified place is just $40-60.

Do these fast chargers diminish battery life? I've always read that slow charging was better (at least for AA /AAA type rechargeables). Not sure about these Li-ion though.

Someone asked the same question:

Q: Does this charger have a cooling fan like the powerwave ?
A: No cooling fan, it changed a little slower, but is good enough for me. No power pack comes with it

Fast Wireless Charging (10w) is still slower than regular cable charging, ie 12w-20w

Curious about this too. I've read slow discharge and recharge is healthiest for battery longevity.

Honestly, if you are charging overnight, who needs a fast charger? This might be good if you are always on the go and working away from a desktop environment.

Pay a little more and buy other brands that come with a fan. They are around $20-$25
