My opinions.
-Milwaukee nut drivers are not worth it unless you really only need one (sets generally more economical).
-Capri wire strippers are from the same factory that produces greenlees and other strippers of the same quality ($5.49 is the best price i've ever seen for that style and i've had the same pairs for over 5 years now, i'd recommend them).
-143 piece mechanics tool set is not worth it (just a lot of fillers and junk to raise the price).
-52 piece Capri tool set looks pretty good at that price (same as the duralast, great neck, channellock, etc. sets. ((Even the color scheme and marketing match channel locks branding)). This won't be a legacy set that is passed on to your children's children, but they will be perfect for shade tree mechanics and DIYers. I really like how they filled in all the less popular metric sizes for when you need that one 11 or 16 mm that you never knew existed).

Welp, I should have bought them and then typed out my comment.
Looks like the strippers and socket set are unavailable already.

*It appears to be working now (4:45 EST), bought both.

I agree with you on the mechanics tool sets. I'd pass on this Gearwrench set as the 1/4" and 3/8" master socket sets are available at tooldiscounter.com for around $90-100 and include the higher quality 84T or 120XP ratchets. That seems a better value in my opinion than this set.

The 52 piece Capri set is a nice starter set in 3/8" drive (probably the most versatile drive size for automotive maintenance) with all 6 point sockets and no size skips. It's Taiwan made and likely similar in quality to Tekton, Gearwrench, or Pittsburgh Pro, all of which are great for home use. You could just add a 1/4" or 1/2" Tekton or Gearwrench set later down the road if your needs outgrow the set.

The Capri set is in some ways a better starting point than the Husky/Kobalt/Craftsman sets that always go on sale, which have more pieces but usually with some 12 point sockets and size skips. For example, I bought a 150 piece Kobalt set on sale for $32, but ended up spending another $16 to get a set of Pittsburgh Pro 3/8" metric deep sockets and individual 16mm and 18mm sockets in 6 point since my VW uses these less common sizes -- these additional purchases wouldn't have been needed if I had the Capri set. Only thing to consider is that you might prefer a store brand for ease of warranty as I'm not sure how or where you would get a Capri hand tool replaced.

I want those files but I swore I was going to Grobet or Dick files next as Nicholson doesn't seem to be as good as they once were. Price is great, not sure I need a full set though with all the stuff I already have.

Where do you use those files? I'm into woodworking and trying out different materials.

My guess is setting and sharpening saw blades. But you really only need the triangle file for that.

Yeah it seems excessive for anything I'm thinking of making.

I ordered the Capri wire strippers after reading your comments, but then cancelled the order after reading several poor reviews on Amazon regarding quality issues.

What?
This? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01018D...=emc_b_5_t
These strippers have 4.5 out of 5 stars with 184 reviews.
Of the (5) 1 star reviews, 3 are equivalent to single sentence nonsense with nothing to go off of, 1 of them says they should have started with klein (even though it is almost identical stamped steel) and that it rolled over and left an indent (maybe they were using the wrong size depending on stranded or solid wire, and the last review goes on about how Klein is great and they will never buy capri tools in the future because of it (even though there are such things as lemons and amazon has a super simple return policy that they could easily have taken advantage of).
I'm not sure what you hoped to gain by quoting me, but it seems you wanted to throw my opinion under the bus based on a couple of bad reviews for a 4.5 out of 5 product.

Side note, this is something you would order and if you truly thought they were garbage or even something as simple as you didn't like the color...Home depot will take them back without question, it's that simple.
