This is NOT a sale, it is regular price. But since we are nearing the TV sales for Superbowl deals, I wanted to mention.

Buying a TV in Fry's or Best Buy or other stores, the warranty Costco offers on Square Trade DOES cover TV's bought other than Costco TV's.
That alone is worth doing a slick deal post.
I posted this because it should be mentioned (AGAIN) and placed up top of the recent posts to make you aware you can save some cash here making this choice.

Best Buy black tie warranty is expensive.. so is Fry's. And the dealing with those stores can be a pain. Square Trade is experienced. The 'quality of service' can be a hassle dealing with Fry's as I have had to fight with my CC company to get a charge disputed regarding a scam of warranty Fry's tried on me.

I think this would be something to consider when you are buying your next 'Superbowl TV'.

Considering the fact, a TV costing $2000-$2999.99 is $169.99 at Squaretrade.com (second photo)... the Costco price of $1000+= $99.99 is a worth while mention!

This has been known, and repeatedly posted about, for years, in nearly every higher end TV thread on here.
Please be considerate.
I did mention at the top of the post this is not a sale and is regular price.
I posted this to be on the top of the recent posts so people will SEE it. I don't see it in the top 100 recent posts. Now is the time to tell /help /educate folks buying a TV to consider this warranty as it can be hundreds of dollars cheaper then say, Best Buy warranty.
Considering the fact, this is one of THE best times to buy a TV of the year, this is highly relevant.

Some technologies have only hit mainstream in the last few years and haven't proven themselves for long-term use yet. That being said, I still have a plasma running as my main since 2007, but it's either going to be replaced by a 4k projector or OLED.

I bet you are going to get comments on your post from those that had TV's go bad within 5 years.
I recently (Black Friday) had bought a 43" Samsung NU71 model that went green screen in 5 days.
FIVE DAYS.

Thanks for posting. My 15 year old 720P DLP TV died today and I've been completely out of the loop.

Based on this guy's experience, I predict all warranty providers will be out of business by the end of the month.

Nothing wrong with this kind of PSA. Just shrugg it off if you already know. Don't assume everyone does.

Bought an OLED a few months ago and forgot to get an extended warranty. Is there any place that lets you add it on later than normal?

Looks like you didnt get it. SquareTrade is a bunch of looters. They over cover the new item warranty. Simply they would collect the warranty expenses from the item manufacturer. Closely validate what they cover from their own pocket.

Try LG Premium Care. Since they are the 'only LG Authorized Warranty Provider' they may allow you to purchase as long as the TV is still under LG's original warranty
