I know not everyone has a Costco membership, but the Kirkland brand of this stuff is about $7. Ask a member to buy a gift card for you and use it (no membership needed).

Isn't it only a pack of 3 at Costco though?

Costco has 3 packs yes but they are 64oz each. So it's better than this deal.

I've 99.9% replaced real milk with Almond milk starting 3 years ago. I'm waiting for the desperate "got milk" ads to come back on television... Wait, I don't have a television anymore. Hah

What's the difference between the refrigerated and non-refrigerated Silk Almond Milk?

I've only used the refrigerated out of habit.

My local Safeway sometimes has Almond milk for $1.99 J4U coupon deals for a 64oz carton, which is a great deal, but they are few and far between.

These are regularly $2.50 for 64 oz at my local grocery store...or $7.50 for the amount of ounces sold here... not exactly slick.

Almond milk has barely any almonds in it, google it. you'll not find percentage of almonds listed on the box, tell tale sign is the low protein content. Almonds are not cheap, true almond milk will have to cost much more. It's a heavily marketed high profit poduct with highly questionable nutritional value.

Soy milk is much better and cheaper.

Almond milk is a total scam. Although the industry will not reveal how much actual almond is used, it seems the answer is 2%. So it is basically 98% water with some vitamins added in. If you look at the nutritional information you can see that there is very little of anything in there. Here is a pretty good article on the subject:

https://www.businessinsider.com/w...ilk-2015-4

I prefer soy milk myself. Soy has gotten some negative press, but I think it is overblown. At least I know soy milk has a significant amount of real soy beans in it and has nutritional value, including a lot of protein (I get the Kirkland brand from Costco and it has 7g of protein per cup, which is almost as much as skim milk).
