Obviously the release of the new Z 6 and Z 7 are pushing the price of this older model down, but a very good value an a solid camera.

Pretty clear that mirrorless is the future, but DSLR isn't going to magically disappear anytime soon. The Nikon F mount has a long history and huge assortment of lenses.
