Fitbit Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale $94.95

I got a notice on my fitbit app that there is $30 off on the fitbit website and off the Aria 2. I looked on Amazon, and they'd already matched it but Amazon also has a 5% coupon that you can clip as well. That cuts the taxes some for those with tax included; otherwise, it's 94.95. This is a decent deal but not super slick, but this is one where if you're in the market already...then you'll likely pull the trigger. Enoy.

I wouldn't purchase a fitbit scale. I bought one once and had received a connection error that seems to plague users who need to change the batteries after the batteries die. Afterwards, it's just a brick as there was no way to fix it. This appears to be a common issue. If you look at the reviews on Amazon, 40% is 5 stars and 30% is 1 star, which paints a somewhat telling story (imo).

Not a whole lot. The new one seems to have avatars for users but that seems to be the only difference.

I picked up the Aria 1 at Target for $27 yesterday (Online item clearance) so good to know. Figure it's worth at least that.

I had the same issue with my Aria scale. Their customer support after you're out of warranty is crap. Unfortunately my Aria is simply a paperweight. I've had no luck with any of their products. The fitness bands that came before the Blaze all separated at the band. I had one that crystallized that was never exposed to water. We will never use their products again in this house. Crap. Crap. Crap. Just Google and get the stories from the people. You could also go to their "support" forums and see pages of people with complaints about the "Sensing Err" problem that plagued the first Aria. They deleted mine over time and others are convinced they are purging complaints.

Yup, mine bricked for no apparent reason after half a dozen uses. Threw that junk out. :/ Really a shame. after spending $130 on it. Aria 1 scale that is, no idea about the 2.

Fitbit sucks. Got so turned off by their ecosystem glitches and troubles.

I have had mine for years now with zero issues. I just changed the batteries and it is still chugging along.
