There are tons of white ones on Warehouse, but none have the 20% discount. Wonder why it was only on the black colored ones?
Why ANYTHING with Amazon? They have some bot that digs through a mountain of inventory data and decides what needs to move and what triggers are required to move it... I guess.

I'm very good with technology but generally confused about how to set up speakers.

1. I have my house wired for in-ceiling speakers.
2. What can I buy or what type of speakers or switches do I need in order to use speakers over wifi? Links would be appreciated
3. Will this have any use for me?

You'd want the Sonos connect amp or the newer Sonos amp to use your existing speakers.

How many speakers do you have in the ceiling that you want to connect? Are they all wired to one point? Is there an audio receiver there already?

Brand new ones at Costco for $135 if willing to buy a pack of 2 for $270. Saw this price a week ago.
Those are the Sonos Play1.. which honestly look similar and have a similar name but inferior

Different speaker. Costco has the Sonos Play:1. Not the same as the Sonos One

Hi Topspin.

See, this is where my confusion lies.

I have ceiling speakers wired to 4 different places in the house (one is wired for 5.1, the other 3 are 2.0). I haven't bought anything yet. I just don't know where to start. So I need a receiver as well?

I wouldn't purchase Sonos speakers if you intend on playing music stored on your iPhone. I've got Sonos speakers throughout my house and for years they worked great, but then there was an update a while back and since then, music stored on my iPhone randomly skips to another song while playing. If you Google this problem, you will see it is not an isolated incident, Sonos is aware of the problem, and months later, they still don't have a solution. This problem seems to be isolated to music stored on your iPhone as I'm still able to stream from Spotify without issue.

Very tempting, but with 3 Echos and 4 Echo Dots connected to JBL Charge speakers, do I really NEED this? How much better does it sound than the JBL Charge speakers? I know it likely sounds loads better than the Echos (which sound muddled to me), but JBL speakers are pretty good.
