Newegg always deserves a thumbs down when it comes to playing the monitor lottery. They have THE worst return policy, second only to Fry's when it comes to monitors.

Costco has the best return policy, followed by Staples. BB is somewhere in between, and B&H a bit lower, while Amazon a bit higher IMHO.

As with all monitor purchases YMMV.

I keep deleting my newegg flash emails over and over without reading them because any time I read them, it seems like it's just refurbished junk or third party sellers. But lately on SD it seems like it has other deals in it to where I probably have been missing deals.

Surprised someone hasn't complained about the 1920 x 1080 resolution being too low for a display this size. Not to worry, someone will. I'm still using one of those HP 32's from Walmart for $100. Same resolution, and it gets the job done a lot better than my old 17" LCD ever could.

It's too small! You'd be better off buying something smaller and cheaper for 1080 and spending more money on something bigger with the big resolution.

As someone who is a display whore and used 4-9 different displays in college and in professional settings (simultaneously), I can promise there is a noticeable difference that you would likely prefer.

And even if not, I can't imagine I hold the unpopular opinion. I frequently act as a consultant for screen purchases Smilie

This is good for my parents, and also good for a cheap secondary monitors for media content.

32in 1080p isn't bad, but text is not that sharp when using with PC. 32in monitor is too big if using on a desk imo.

If using for mostly videos/console, it would work. Just know text on PC will be less sharp.

Better pray that you get a working monitor...Neweggs return policy is the worst. I dont buy from them after several bad experiences

Depends on where you put it. Above the monitor, yes. Side by side? No. Get another 1440p monitor 60hz for your secondary so they match in height.

What's your thought on the 27" Acer K272HUL vs. a 27" Dell Ultrasharp? Both are 1440p IPS, but Acer is about $230 and Dell is about $350. Is it worth the extra money? Other than normal web browsing, I'm looking to get into some photo editing. Displayport is a must.

bought 2 for office work and they're quite nice! i'm used to 27inch 1440p gaming monitors, but 1080p at this size for excel and pdf isn't too bad actually (being ips probably helps)...well worth it at only $150
